Affiliate disclosure

There are no affiliate links on this site, no paid placements, and no commercial relationship with any operator named on it. Zero of the brands listed pay us anything.

The current position

Nothing here is monetised. Every outbound link to an operator is a plain link carrying rel="nofollow noopener sponsored" and no tracking parameters, and it earns us nothing. None of the 51 brands with a page on this site has a commercial arrangement with us, has paid for placement, or has seen a page before publication.

Why this is said once rather than on every page

The usual pattern is a line on each review saying whether that particular link is monetised. That works when some are and some are not — on a site where four of eleven links pay, the per-page note carries information.

Here, none of them do. Repeating "this link earns us nothing" across 51 pages would turn a disclosure into wallpaper: readers stop seeing a sentence that never changes, and a notice that is never read is not a disclosure. So the position is stated once, here, prominently, and referenced from each page.

The mechanism for per-page disclosure is nonetheless built and left in place. The moment any link becomes commercial, the pages carrying one will say so individually — and this page will change in the same release. One without the other is the failure mode being guarded against.

What ordering is based on

The review index is ordered by licensed company, largest group first, and alphabetically inside each group. That is not a ranking and it is not a recommendation. There is no score out of ten anywhere on this site, deliberately: a single number invites readers to trust the number instead of the facts behind it, and it would be the easiest thing here to sell.

Which brands get a page was decided on measured search demand in the UK — how many people actually look for each brand — rather than on our impression of importance or on anything commercial. That is why the list mixes names every British player recognises with several they will not.

What we do not accept

No advertising, no sponsorship, no sponsored posts, no guest articles, no paid link insertion, no "content partnerships" and no payment to add, improve, soften or remove a review. Requests of that kind do not get a reply.

We also do not accept operator-supplied copy. Reviews are written from the Gambling Commission's public register and from operators' own published terms — both of which are public — and not from press packs or affiliate briefing documents.

If this changes

It may. Affiliate income is the normal way a site like this funds itself, and taking it would not by itself make the content worse. What would make it worse is taking it quietly. So if it happens: this page changes first, the affected pages carry a visible per-page notice, ordering stays by company, and the score-free approach stays — because the thing that could be sold is a ranking, and there is not one to sell.

Questions about affiliate disclosure

4 answers

01

Does this site earn anything from the casinos it lists?

No. Nothing here is monetised at present: there is no affiliate programme wired, no tracking URL on any outbound link and no paid placement. Every outbound link goes to the operator's own address.

02

Why do the outbound links carry sponsored markup then?

Because the markup describes the relationship type, not the payment. Links to commercial operators from a site that reviews them carry rel="nofollow noopener sponsored" whether money changes hands or not, which is the conservative reading of the guidance and does not need revisiting if that changes.

03

Would a review change if a brand paid you?

The structure makes it awkward to. Every figure on a review page is either from the register or from the operator's own terms, both dated, and the verification table has to contain at least one honest failure or the page will not build. None of that is a promise about future behaviour, but it is the shape the site is in.

04

How would I know if this changed?

This page would say so, and the site-wide line in the page furniture is derived from the link data rather than typed — the moment a tracking URL is added anywhere, the sentence changes itself on every page that carries it.
