MrQ review: the licensee, the account, and the gaps

Who runs MrQ

Deposit at MrQ and the business you contract with is Tek Fox Ltd, the name on Gambling Commission account 60629. Every licence obligation — protected funds, age and identity checks, deposit limits, self-exclusion, an adjudicator for a complaint that goes unresolved — belongs to that company rather than to the brand on the tab.

MrQ is one of the few brands here that appears to stand alone. We found no other British casino brand on account 60629, and the register lists 1 declared domain under it. That makes the brand and the business close to the same thing, which is rarer in this market than most readers would guess — and it means a self-exclusion or a closed account here does not leave a sister site still open to you.

The registered office is in Malta, which is normal rather than notable: the Commission's rules apply to Tek Fox Ltd in full wherever it is incorporated. The brand and the licence are not the same age

MrQ gives 2020 as its founding year and the account it trades under was issued in 2023, so brand and licence began together. That is the least complicated case and the less common one here: the company built the brand rather than adopting it.

What it costs to start

The stated minimum deposit is £10 — the same floor 95 of the brands we list use. The brand lists 5 deposit methods and 5 for withdrawal, and the gap between those two numbers is worth noticing: a route you can pay in with is not automatically a route you can take money out through.

The routes MrQ lists are Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay, Bank Transfer . PayPal is there, which matters because it is the most searched deposit method in this market and only 107 of the 139 brands we hold records for accept it. Apple Pay is accepted too, which 73 of the 139 do.

The published terms state no deposit or withdrawal fee. That is the common position: of the brands we list, 49 do state a charge somewhere, generally attached to a pay-by-phone route rather than to withdrawals as a whole.

No maximum deposit is published. Roughly half the market states one, and its absence here is a gap in the disclosure rather than an unlimited ceiling — an operator with affordability obligations will have internal limits whether or not it prints them.

Getting paid, and when the clock starts

That is the middle of the British market, and in practice the variable is rarely the operator: card and bank routes add their own settlement time after the casino has released the money. The smallest amount you can take out is £10, in line with the deposit floor.

Verification is where a first withdrawal actually stalls. MrQ states a turnaround of 12–48 hours for identity checks, and the withdrawal window generally begins once those are cleared — so the realistic first payout is the two added together, not the headline figure alone.
