The spread, band by band
Of 134 brands publishing a window: 6 state under 24 hours, 36 state one to three days, 72 state four to seven, and 20 state longer than a week. 5 publish nothing at all and are excluded rather than counted as fast.
Four to seven days is the largest single band, which makes it the honest answer to the question in the title. It is also the band where most of the delay is not the casino: inside it sit an internal review, a payments batch and the receiving bank's own settlement.
The step that decides your first payout
Verification, and it is worth being precise. Checking age and identity before payout is a Gambling Commission licence condition, not a service level, so it happens everywhere. 135 brands publish a turnaround; most are inside 48 hours and 24 state longer.
Because the stated window generally begins once checks are accepted, the arithmetic for a first withdrawal is verification plus window. A brand promising 24 hours that verifies in three days is slower than one promising three days that verifies in an hour — and neither number alone tells you that.
Why the same window feels different
The casino's stated window is usually identical across payment methods; the variation comes after the money is released. E-wallets clear in minutes, debit cards take a day or two, bank transfers longer. So two players at the same brand, on the same stated window, routinely wait different lengths of time — and the casino's figure is not wrong in either case.
When it is genuinely late
Ask the licensed company two specific questions rather than one vague one: is verification complete, and has the payment been released. Those identify which stage is stuck. Keep the dates. If it is unresolved after eight weeks the operator must offer an approved alternative dispute resolution provider at no cost to you — the Gambling Commission regulates operators but does not adjudicate individual disputes or recover money, which is covered on the licences page.
What we could not verify
All of it, in the strict sense: these are published claims, not measurements. No withdrawal has been made at any casino on this site and each brand page says so. We also could not confirm whether stated windows hold per payment method, nor what ceilings apply at brands publishing none. Figures read 31st July 2026.

casino withdrawal times: questions readers ask
9 answers
01 How long do casino withdrawals take in the UK?
Across the 134 brands with a stated window: 6 state under 24 hours, 36 state one to three days, 72 state four to seven and 20 state longer. Four to seven days is the largest group, which makes it the realistic middle of the market.
02 When does the withdrawal clock start?
After identity verification is complete, at nearly every brand — not when you press withdraw. That is why the first withdrawal from a new account takes longer than every one after it, and why the useful estimate adds the verification turnaround to the stated window.
03 How long does casino verification take?
135 of the brands we list publish a turnaround. Most fall inside 48 hours and 24 state longer. Where nothing is published, the first payout cannot be estimated from the stated window alone, and the page for that brand says so.
04 Why is my first withdrawal taking so long?
Verification, in most cases. The operator needs proof of identity, address and often the payment method used. Submitting documents when you open the account rather than when you want the money is the single thing that shortens it.
05 Do withdrawal times differ by payment method?
The casino's stated window is usually the same across methods; the difference comes afterwards, in settlement. E-wallets clear fastest, debit cards next, bank transfers slowest — so the same stated window produces different experiences.
06 What is a pending period?
A window between requesting a withdrawal and the casino processing it. At some brands you can cancel during it and return the balance to play, which is the reason it exists. If you would rather not have that option, look for a brand with no reversal facility rather than a short pending time.
07 Are these times verified?
No, and every brand page marks them "stated, not tested". They come from operators' published terms — the operators' own claims. Licence facts are different: those come from the Gambling Commission register, read 31st July 2026.
08 What if a withdrawal is late?
Ask the licensed company two specific questions: is verification complete, and has the payment been released. If it is unresolved after eight weeks the operator must offer an approved adjudicator free of charge. The Gambling Commission does not adjudicate individual disputes or recover money.
09 Do brands owned by one company share a payout window?
Usually to the hour, because the window is a platform setting rather than a brand promise. Sorting these figures by licensee produces clusters instead of a scatter, which is one of the clearest outside signs that separately marketed casinos are one business.
