The brands that will not take it
PayPal is at 107 of the 139 brands we hold deposit records for, which is 77% — near enough to standard that listing who accepts it would be a directory. The table above is the other list, and it is the one with something in it: 32 brands do not.
What stands out is who they are. Several are long-established British betting businesses with their own card and bank rails built decades before a wallet existed — the kind of operator for whom adding PayPal means paying a fee to reach customers it already reaches. Refusing it is a commercial position, not a regulatory one, and nothing about a UK licence requires or forbids it.
Two brands, one decision
The clearest illustration sits inside our own table. 32Red and Unibet both refuse PayPal, and both are licensed to Platinum Gaming Limited on Gambling Commission account 45322. Their deposit lists are not merely similar, they are identical — the same seven routes, in the same set. That is what a shared platform looks like from the cashier: the payment configuration is made once for the licence and inherited by every brand trading on it.
Which means a player who tries a second casino because the first would not take PayPal can easily land on the same company's other brand and meet the same refusal. Check the company first and the second attempt is not wasted.
The part that costs people money
A deposit that works is not the same as a deposit that qualifies. Wallet routes are the ones most often excluded from a welcome offer, and PayPal is sometimes named in that exclusion beside Skrill and Neteller. The exclusion lives in the bonus terms, not on the banking page, so it is invisible at the moment you choose the route — you find out after the money has arrived and the offer has not.
What this page does not tell you
Whether each brand pays back to PayPal. The records we resolved cover deposit routes, and a casino that accepts a method does not necessarily withdraw to it. We are not going to infer one from the other, because on this very page there is a counter-example: PaysafeCard is the most widely accepted route of its kind in Britain and it cannot receive a withdrawal at all.
Also absent: the 0 brands we hold no payment record for. They are not in the counts above rather than being counted as refusals — we do not know either way, and a silent zero would be the wrong answer.

PayPal casino UK: questions readers ask
8 answers
01 Which UK casinos accept PayPal?
107 of the 139 brands we hold deposit records for. Because that is the large majority, this page lists the 32 that do not instead — a list of who accepts it would be a directory rather than an answer.
02 Why would a licensed casino refuse PayPal?
PayPal charges the operator and imposes its own rules, so refusing it is a commercial decision rather than a regulatory one. Several of the brands that refuse it are long-established British bookmakers with their own card and bank rails already in place.
03 Can I withdraw to PayPal if I deposited with it?
Usually, and that is the point of using it — but our records here cover deposit routes, so we cannot confirm the withdrawal side brand by brand. Where a casino does allow it, PayPal is normally the fastest way to be paid because the money moves to a wallet rather than through a card network.
04 Does paying with PayPal affect a bonus?
It can. Wallet deposits are the ones most often excluded from a welcome offer, and PayPal is sometimes named alongside Skrill and Neteller in that exclusion. The exclusion sits in the bonus terms rather than on the banking page, which is why it surprises people.
05 Is PayPal safer than a debit card at a casino?
It changes what the casino sees rather than how safe your money is. Your card number never reaches the operator, which is a real benefit, but neither route changes who holds your balance — that is the licensed company, and it is named against every brand on this site.
06 Do brands on the same licence make the same choice?
Largely, and it shows: 32Red and Unibet both sit on Platinum Gaming's account 45322 and both refuse PayPal, with an identical list of seven deposit routes between them. The configuration is made once for the platform.
07 Can I use PayPal if the casino does not list it?
No. There is no way to route a deposit through PayPal at a casino that has not integrated it, and any site claiming otherwise is describing a different payment company.
08 How current is this list?
The deposit routes come from our operator records; the licence data alongside them was read from the Gambling Commission register on 31st July 2026. Payment integrations change without announcement, so check the cashier before you rely on one.
